Micky is actively involving in Wine and Sake industry, as educator, media writer, international judge and industry consultant. He is also the first certified educator of SSA & WSET Award in Sake!
Kokushu means Japanese wine, including both sake and shochu. With the support from Japan Sake & Shochu Makers’ Association, you will learn about the different styles and beauty of kokushu throughout the workshop. You don’t have to be a sake expert to join us, come and we make sure you will have an enjoyable evening!

Mr. Micky Chan is actively involving in Wine and Sake industry, as educator, media writer, international judge and industry consultant.
He is the co-founder of Hong Kong Wine Academy, and also a F & B magazine – “Umai”; moreover, his own social platform on Facebook and Blog – www.mickychan.com, focused on F & B sector.
In 2017, he was appointed as “Overseas Support desk (Asia)” by Japan Sake & Shochu Makers’ Association, which to link up Asia Sake market and Japanese sake industry. Same year, he was awarded “Sake Samurai” title by Sake Samurai Association. He is the 2nd Chinese to achieve this title, as to recognize his contributions and achievements in Sake.
